It allows two users to access any of the eight computers, each using one of the two local consoles.
Firmware upgrade for easy synchronization of all firmware on KVM switches and computer modules
The Firmware upgrade feature provides an easy way to manually upgrade your firmware to the latest version available on the CAT5 KVM switch main unit as well as on individual dongles. This can reduce the time and efforts spent to keep the whole system updated in
good shape.
Neater and more pliable CAT5 cabling to save cabling nightmare
Due to higher and higher density of servers within corporate server rooms or data centers, server admins face an even more aggravating problem of cabling clutters when connecting servers to the KVM Switch, using only the conventional KVM combo cables. This CAT5 Matrix KVM Switch is a neat solution to save all the cabling troubles for you as it utilizes CAT5/CAT5e/CAT6 UTP cables as carriers of the KVM signals in lieu of the often cumbersome conventional KVM combo cables. There are no more cabling clutters to thwart server rack backside access, and owing to much longer distance of cabling, administrators can also manage to integrate any computers that are within the reach of 100 Meters CAT5 cabling.
