The HX-240 is an IP-based Dual-display HDMI KVM Extender which comprises two distinct units, the transmitter (TX) unit and the receiver (RX) unit. With our unique design, you may enjoy the convenience of remotely accessing HDMI-enabled computers or multimedia players from a long distance. Except for the signal extension of video, keyboard, mouse, and audio (microphone&speaker), the access of USB peripherals can also be extended, which means the user can fully control the HDMI-enabled computer connected to a TX unit from a remote KVM (keyboard/monitor/mouse) console connected to an RX unit over the existing gigabit network infrastructure. When the extender units work in non-managed mode, the user can easily link them with their OSD menus. As they work in managed mode with an optional controller box, advanced functions such as Grouped Switching/Console Collaboration could be implemented on your extender configuration.
