Sharing High-Speed USB devices while Enjoying Clean Images and Clear Sounds
- DVI-202AU/DVI-204AU DVI USB KVM Switch w/ Audio&Mic

Taipei, Taiwan (Uniclass Technology) -- Is it so difficult to combine KVM Switching and multimedia experience and make it as fun and easy as things like enjoying digitally clean images and clear sounds? The Answer is in the
DVI-202AU/DVI-204AU.

The DVI-202AU/DVI-204AU is a 2/4-port DVI USB KVM Switch with Audio and Microphone switching function. It allows you to control 2/4 USB-enabled multimedia computers with DVI video interfaces, using only one USB keyboard, mouse, monitor and a set of speakers and microphone. With DVI-204AU, you can even select the computers, USB device hub ports and audio/mic channels either simultaneously or independently, using either front-panel buttons or keyboard hotkeys. This DVI USB KVM Switch adopts the DVI interface technology that implements genuinely digital signal transmission over the cable to reduce undesired distortion from conventional analog/digital conversion.

The audio and microphone switching function allows you to leverage the multimedia system on each of your multiple computers. You can monitor the audio/mic input/output of each of your computers without plugging on and off the audio/mic cables. And the DVI-204AU even allows independent switching of PCs/Hub ports/Audio&Mic channels and takes only one set of speaker and microphone instead of one set for each computer.

Since USB devices have gained tremendous popularity, it is a great advantage that you can share your high-speed USB 2.0 devices. The DVI-202AU/DVI-204AU provides a 2-port USB 2.0 device hub on its backpanel to share your high-speed USB devices between connected computers. Kripman -- Remote Server Management Solution over LAN/WAN

Taipei, Taiwan (Uniclass Technology) - Uniclass Kripman is a new generation of IP-based KVM Switch, which utilizes the over-IP technology to implement a total control of remote server group over LAN/WAN. With the IP-based KVM Switch solution, the administrators can enjoy a high transparency over remote server management that breaks the conventional limits in time and space.
Kripman also supports 128-bit SSL encryption with Public / Private Key authentication to ensure ultra-security with authorized network access. Kripman offers an internal http / https server, accessible by a remote client via a standard browser supporting 128-bit SSL encryption such as IE6.0 or Netscape 7.0. With this web-based management interface, the administrator can safely access, configure and manage Kripman and the conventional KVM Switches connected to it.
On the other hand, Kripman provides optional VNC-like viewer as well as Java viewer for the access, control and management of server farms or global data centers with a high degree of operation transparency. In view of the scalability of server port capacity, Kripman will offer a multi-card version in the near future to expand its server port capacity up to 4. Furthermore, a full support of accessories, such as ioPower* and ConsolePlus**, will add to this machine a capability for remote power on/off, power cycling as well as an enhancement on a conventional local console port. With these features, Kripman is capable of providing a solid platform for remote sever management anytime anywhere, offering multi-users a ready access to thousands of computers under proper authentication.

Total transparency of control far beyond what software solutions can do
Different from many other software solutions for remote access and control, Kripman does not incur any software or hardware overheads to be installed or annexed into your remote servers, hence no more concern over server functional stability or system resource depletion. One more advantage: Kripman will not in the least interfere with the way your server is supposed to operate and no tempering of your important benchmarking. Owing to its reliable hardware architecture, Kripman distinguishes itself from other software remote control solutions in that, in conjunction with ioPower—the remote power on/off control module, it can well enforce a remote power on/off or power cycling even when your remote server won’t respond with any of your keyboard command or mouse movements. Furthermore, you can monitor the whole booting/rebooting process, and also exert the BIOS level control just like you have been sitting right by your remote server, which might actually be half a globe away. By contrast, there will be none of the software solutions to provide you with any effective countermeasures in a server crisis; hence software solutions are not qualified for a ''total control'' solution.

Highly Cost-effective Remote Server Management Solution
Due to the popularity of DSL / Cable technology, the IP-based KVM Switch has turned out to be the best proponent in remote server management solution market. With Kripman, the server administrators can very easily exert a centralized control over all the servers distributed over the globe without resorting to enterprise outsourcing, thus saving huge costs. On the other hand, the administrators need only a standard browser and a viewer program to gain a total control over the remote servers anytime anywhere, elevating their management efficiency to a new level which is never imaginable with the conventional remote control solution. Thus, the IP-based KVM Switch has been recognized as an indispensable component in an effective server crisis management infrastructure.

Multi-user, Multi-platform and Multi-card
Kripman supports simultaneous access for multi-users over a remote server, and allows users to determine whether a shared or non-shared session will be used. The IP-based KVM Switch leverages the ubiquitous 10/100BASE-TX Ethernet infrastructure and is hence compatible to diverse platforms on the client side. Furthermore, Kripman will offer a multi-card model with expandability up to 4 server ports for simultaneous access for 4 different servers over single / multiple client desktops. Kripman offers a VNC-like viewer as well as a Java viewer for cross-platform compatibility. The viewer window can be opened with multiple instances and it’s resizable.

128-bit SSL Encryption with Public key / Private key Authentication
Kripman utilizes the Public Key / Private Key authentication to ensure the proper identification of remote users. The issuance and the verification of digital certificates can be done by Kripman or other certification authorities, and only the owner of the certificates can gain access and control over the remote servers. Kripman can also protect your signal transmission according to different requirement over securities. You can encrypt, with 128-bit cipher strength, your keyboard, mouse and video signals to avoid eavesdropping in the cyberspace.

Promote the efficiency of your data center and lower your sever management costs
Kripman offers a new way of remote sever management that breaks the conventional limits in time and space. It can save time in commuting between different offices by the network administrative staff and save travel fees. It also offers a more responsive and more immediate way to troubleshoot your server crisis. Server Administrators can access all the severs via a standard browser interface and the viewer program, and the enterprise can save huge outsourcing costs by centralizing its server controls. Not only is the efficiency significantly boosted, but also the safety is vastly enhanced. Kripman is compatible to most conventional KVM switches from other manufacturers.

Daily Remote Server Management and indispensable component for server crisis management infrastructure
Kripman provides a reliable platform with only minimal requirements on the client side to achieve a total remote control. Especially in an unexpected sever crisis, Kripman can offer a common platform for a joint shared-session by all parties to troubleshoot the server problem with high cooperative efficiency yet with no one really having to be present by the server side. As a vital link within an effective infrastructure for daily server management routines and server crisis troubleshooting, Kripman IP-based KVM Switch is an effective and smart choice for reducing server downtime and increasing sever management efficiency.

* ioPower is an optional accessory for remote power on/off and power cycling for Kripman
** ConsolePlus is an optional accessory for adding an enhanced local console for Kripman

Zap the Blue Screen by Power Cycling, Remotely --
Kripman’s Remote Power Control Module

Taipei, Taiwan (Uniclass Technology) – Kripman, Uniclass’ new generation of IP-based KVM Switch, is powered by the Over-IP technology to extend the capacity and range of server remote access and control beyond the conventional limit. Adding to the long list of Kripman’s remote can-dos, Uniclass Technology offers a Remote Power Control Module – for the power cycling function of Kripman.

The importance of adding this power cycling feature to Kripman is to provide net admin the direct command to power on/off a server. It is sometimes a final countermeasure to troubleshoot any potential server problems by power cycling.

Conventionally, power cycling is done by switching off the power and then on again for a “cold” reboot, and it is done manually by the on-site staff. But with the Over-IP technology implemented onto KVM Switch, the remote power ON/OFF feature is now in order for a truly total control from remote end over Ethernet/Internet infrastructure.

Using Kripman coupled with its Remote Power Control Module, the network administrator can now perform power on or power off as needed, or giving a shot of a remote reboot to zap the fatal blue-screen of a hung server, anywhere and anytime in the world.

Uniclass’s New Generation of IP-based KVM Switch Solution
Kripman -- World’s PC at your Fingertip, if you wish…

Taipei, Taiwan (Uniclass Technology) - Uniclass Technology is proud to announce the upcoming debut of Kripman, its new generation of IP-based KVM Switch, in CEBIT Exhibition, Hannover, Germany (12-19 March, 2003). The namesake of Kripman is an acronymic combination from the ''KVM Remote IP-based Management''. Just as its name goes, it represents a member of a revolutionary IP-based approach to remote server management on a truly global scale.

Thanks to the popularity of the low-cost and high-bandwidth DSL / Cable technology, the IP-based KVM Switch technology has gradually emerged as a dominant player in the whole new landscape of remote server management. Today, the IP-based KVM Switch has been regarded as a better and more cost-effective solution to address the critical issue of remote server management, which could only be partially tackled in the past by expensive yet redundant software solutions or Enterprise Management System.

Based on the over-IP technology, Kripman IP-based KVM Switch makes it all possible for authorized and secured access of myriads of computers / servers anywhere at anytime.

Kripman gives users total control from preboot stage such as the BIOS-level CMOS setting up to the GUI applications and daily maintenance routines such as power cycling of your remote computers / servers. And all these could be nicely done on your admin desk using only an ordinary web-based interface.

The advantages of using Kripman as compared to the conventional KVM Switch is that: Typical KVM Switch’s On Screen Display (OSD) can only let you control a single server at one time, while IP-based KVM Switch such as Kripman lets you open multiple viewer windows for separate control sessions on the console screen. As a result, you can monitor multiple servers simultaneously without the inconvenience of the OSD Menu or hotkey channel switching.

With Kripman, the network administrator can access corporate server farms or global data centers on his own seat without toils and troubles of going anywhere from across the street to oversea. And organizations can enjoy a uniquely centralized control over its dispersed servers in different branch offices, thus saving money for outsourcing costs.
